 We’re now looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Care Manager at  Ascot Grange Care Home in Sunninghill. If this sounds like the place for you, we’d love to hear from you!

 ABOUT THE ROLE

You will provide visible leadership on the unit, overseeing standards of care delivery, staffing, documentation and resident experience. Working closely with the General Manager and Deputy Manager, you will ensure that care is delivered in line with company policies, regulatory standards and best practice.

 Although non-clinical, the Care Manager is accountable for care quality, safeguarding, compliance and team performance within the unit. You will lead care planning processes, monitor risk, support staff development and act as a key point of contact for residents, families and professionals.

 Other responsibilities will include: 

• Lead the person-centred care planning process, including implementation, monitoring and monthly evaluation.
•   Monitor residents’ wellbeing, recognising changes that impact care and ensuring care plans are updated accordingly.
• Act as a key lead for safeguarding within residential care, ensuring concerns are identified, escalated and managed appropriately
• Act as a key point of contact for residents, relatives and visitors, responding to reasonable requests and escalating concerns appropriately.

• hold NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills to lead staff when delivering care, care
  planning and record-keeping
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional development
• Have a positive attitude to developing staff and enhancing the well-being of residents
